Trial Lesson
A first meeting with your voice, and with me.
Thirty minutes, no commitment. I listen to your voice, we talk about your goals, and together we test the fundamentals — breath, posture, placement. After the trial, you know whether we're a fit — and I know where we could begin.
You share your goals, background, and what brought you here.
A few foundational exercises so I can hear how your voice moves.
Bring a song you know well — or we choose one together.
I share observations and propose what we could focus on next.
Trained at the Opera College in Stockholm under Kerstin Meyer. Jenny Lind Scholarship 1986. Four decades on European opera stages — Royal Swedish Opera, Folkoperan, Oper Bonn, Drottningholm Court Theatre, Spoleto.

When booking, please share the repertoire and key in the notes field so I can have the score ready for the lesson.
Brief conversation about your goals (5 min), light warm-up (5 min), work on a song or a foundational exercise (15 min), and a plan for what's next (5 min).
Not required, but welcome. If you have a song you know well — in any genre — we can use it. Otherwise we choose together.
No. Music reading isn't a prerequisite. We work with ear training and imitation as readily as with notation.
Yes. Online trial via Zoom is offered at the same price. Works well for most aspects — I can't physically adjust posture over a screen, but technique, breath, and interpretation all translate.
No obstacle. I accept students from the teens upward, at every level. A trial lesson is as valuable for a beginner as for an advanced singer — it just determines where we start.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the lesson. Later cancellations or no-shows are charged at full price.
