A masterclass is a group lesson where three to eight singers take turns performing and receiving individual coaching. You learn from watching others' challenges and progress — and practice stage presence in a safe environment.

A lyric soprano has a lighter, more agile tone suited to Mozart, Puccini (Mimi), and Gounod. A dramatic soprano has a larger, darker voice for Verdi (Aida), Wagner, and Strauss. Many voices develop from lyric toward more dramatic over the years.

Choose repertoire that showcases your voice's strengths — not the hardest pieces you can find. Prepare at least two contrasting pieces. Work with a teacher on interpretation and stage presence. Most importantly: breathe, be present, and sing what you love.

Yes, I accept students from their teens onwards. For younger children, I recommend a choir or music school as a first step. From around age 14-15, individual lessons can begin with care and a focus on building good habits.
